Eligibility Requirements
Nominees must meet the following requirements:
• Demonstrate leadership, service, or innovation within DeKalb County.
• Exhibit high standards of integrity and community impact.
• Must not be currently under investigation or facing ethical violations.
• Organizations must be in good standing and operating within DeKalb County.
Nomination Form Fields
The nomination form will request the following information:
• Full Name of Nominee
• Nominee’s Email and Phone Number
• Category of Nomination
• Reason for Nomination (500–1000 words)
• Supporting Documents or Links (optional)
• Nominator’s Full Name
• Nominator’s Contact Information
Submission Instructions
1. Complete the online nomination form.
2. Attach any supporting materials (optional but recommended).
3. Submit your nomination before the published deadline.
4. A confirmation email will be sent once your nomination is received.
5. Finalists will be contacted directly for verification.
Review & Selection Process
All nominations are reviewed by a selection committee comprised of community leaders, county partners, and representatives from the Spirit of DeKalb organizing team. Honorees are chosen based on merit, impact, and alignment with the gala’s mission.
