The Same House’s mission is rooted in the values of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Beloved Community and the words of Congressman John Lewis:
We’re one people. We’re one family. We all live in the same house.”
The Same House is a nonprofit dedicated to bridging social and economic divides through collaboration and community connection. Inspired by Congressman John Lewis, its signature event—the Beloved Benefit—has raised over $24 million to support nonprofits advancing opportunity and well-being.
